I am most interested in quantum computing, cryptography and sports tech.
I currently work on Openlane, a performance analytics and insights app for Masters swimmers, which I am!
I also write about quantum computing, which became an interest of mine when I began researching post-quantum cryptography for blockchain. You can read my work on Medium.
Prior to all of this, I raised $1.7 million for an NFT marketplace startup in 2021. The company no longer exists but it defines much of how I approach business, product development, and engineering.
I have worked in the blockchain industry in software engineering and developer relations roles since 2019.
I learned how to swim three years ago and never looked back! I regularly swim with the Orca Swim Team, a U.S. Masters Swimming team that serves the Capitol Hill and West Seattle neighborhoods in Seattle, Washington, and supports LGBTQ+ and allies. I've participated in more than a dozen swim meets including Regionals and Nationals for Masters swimmers. I primarily focus on breaststroke and distance (500yd+) events.
I also train in cardio and strength exercises at local YMCAs in the Seattle area.
I'm passionate about public policy and sociology.
I constantly think about how our society is evolving and socioeconomic impacts. I credit this from my time at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where I graduated with a Bachelor's in Urban Studies and minors in Community Action and Science and Society.
I also serve as a Commissioner on the Seattle Women's Commission, where I explore the impacts of housing and reproductive policies on women.
